This was another good book by Lorrie Farrelly, truely enjoyed all of the books from this series. She kept you not only into the love story but also with great detail told you the events surrounding it.

She spends two days with him and falls in love. He is now the love of her life. But because he’s not sure how he feels or what he wants in life, she is soooo depressed and down. She told him more than once that she wants him to love her. But he keeps saying he doesn’t know what she wants. This was the main issue during the last third of the book. Not a good one - for me.

But I really like this author’s story telling style, her dialogue and actions. So I enjoyed it even though I had this problem. And I’m going to read more by this author.

Minor problem I prefer character names not be similar. A few times I had to double think to remember who was who Kinley vs Killoran. If the author always used Killoran’s first name Bram it would have been better, but she didn’t.

THE SERIES
I was surprised and pleased with the first two books in the series because there was no fight-separation between the couple. This book is traditional with a separation. I’m ok with or without, I just want it well done. I think you can read all three books as stand alones. But I suggest reading them in order since the characters interact with each other. Michael’s younger brother Gavin was killed in a civil war battle. His ghost has a small part in all three stories.

Book 1 - Terms of Surrender - Annie and Michael
Book 2 - Terms of Engagement - Robert is Annie’s brother - he meets Tess
Book 3 - Terms of Temptation - Kinley is the daughter of Annie and Michael - she meets Bram

I just finished this great story last night. I loved the stubborn, strong, independent woman that Kinley Cantrell was. Her tender care and love of all the sick or injured critters was inspiring.
Then she met Warden Bram Killoran. Then the clashes begun. This was an interesting wonderful story that kept me turning the pages. The handsome man bound by duty and the young adventurous woman that found her true passion. A great read!
Well I don't know which book I liked the best! They were all just so wonderful. The love that was generated, not only between the hero and herrione, but also amongst the family members. It was so touching! And Gavin, the deceased younger brother to Michael, who died in the civil war, was just the greatest! He showed up every time when he was needed. This last time when he appeared in front of Bram, who was not a blood relative, and held his and Kinnies baby girl, that was just the saddest but happiest moment. Come to think about it, I guess he appeared in front of Rob, who was not blood related either. These are all great stories. I wish there was a sequel.
